Turks and Caicos Oil & Gas Industry Jet Charter

Turks and Caicos Jet Charter arranges flights for people in the oil and gas industry, including executives and their families flying down from Texas, company retreats on Providenciales and hospitality trips for clients.

Flying in from Texas

Texas is one of the longer runs to the islands. Dallas is about 1,450 nautical miles from Providenciales, so the aircraft needs the range for the trip, and the operator will confirm whether a fuel stop is needed for your date, your passengers and their bags.

Energy executives tend to keep calendars that change at short notice. When a meeting moves, we will look for an aircraft on the new date, subject to scheduling and aircraft availability.

Retreats and client trips

Leadership offsites, board meetings and client hospitality trips often come to Grace Bay and Long Bay. When the group is spread across several cities, we can arrange more than one aircraft so that everyone arrives on Providenciales on the same afternoon. A large group can outgrow a business jet, and your advisor will talk you through the options once we know the headcount.

Crews and equipment going elsewhere

We also arrange flights for the industry well beyond the islands. That covers crew rotations to remote fields, executive trips to sites the airlines do not serve, and cargo charters for parts and equipment that cannot wait for space on a scheduled service. Send us the dimensions and weight of the load at the start, and your advisor will check them against the aircraft and the way it loads.

Discretion and your own standards

Passenger names, itineraries and cargo details are shared only with the operator and the crew assigned to the trip. Many energy companies have their own audit requirements for the operators they fly with, and we will work to them. Read how we choose operators on our safety page, then tell us what your company needs.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.

Turks and Caicos-Specific Patterns We Plan Around

Every flight into Turks and Caicos from the United States or Canada is an international trip, so you land first at an airport that can clear you through customs: Providenciales, Grand Turk or South Caicos. Almost every private flight lands at Providenciales, officially Howard Hamilton International Airport, where private aviation terminals clear you in away from the main airline hall, and a late arrival there can be arranged in advance. North Caicos, Salt Cay and Pine Cay only take flights from within the territory, Parrot Cay has no airstrip, and Ambergris Cay’s private airport is open by prior permission. The islands are on the same time as New York all year, and hurricane season runs from June 1st to November 30th, with September usually the most active month.
